Jonathan Self

Jonathan Self is a leading portrait photographer specialising in families and children, and branding and entrepreneurs. He is one of the highest ranked photographers in the South East for Google reviews and has worked with over 500 families in the past 20 years as well as with leading high-street brands including current work with M&S and John Lewis. In the words of the Master of an Oxford college, “Jonathan’s photographs have a strong emotional charge and he builds an immediate and strong rapport with all his subjects”.

 

Jonathan specialises in taking beautiful, authentic portraits and works around the theme of “story”, believing that everyone is beautiful and worthy of being photographed and that everyone has a story to tell and it’s what drives him in his work, photographing someone’s truth.

 

He spends his time in between Devon and the Cotswolds and in his spare time loves pilates, yoga and running and spending one month of the year in an old French chateau.
